Monorail Switches

American Crane and Hoist manufactures monorail switches utilizing our patented track or standard I beams (S shapes or W shapes). Monorail switches are used to change travel direction on a monorail system. Monorail switches are available in 2-way right or left hand, Y type, 3 way, cross track, and turntable designs. Monorail switches are available with or without electrification. Monorail switches are available with hand pull chains or mechanized operators to change tracks.

Custom designed monorail switches based on our standard models are available to meet an individual customer’s needs. We can adjust our monorail switches to meet our customers curve radius, beam size, trolley width, etc. Our motorized monorail switches are available with both electric and air operators.

Replacement parts are available for almost every monorail we have ever built and can be sourced from the S.O. Number (Shop Order Number) found on the Monorail Name Plate and on the user manual. Additionally, the invoice number can be used to identify the monorail.
